I saved this limited edition sake from Hokkaido.
It was getting cold, so I warmed it up and had a glass of sake.
When chilled, the sweetness and umami are assertive, but when heated, the roundness comes through,
But when heated, it has a more rounded flavor. Warmed, it has a rounder, rounder taste and is fuller and gentler.
Great with nabe. Delicious.
The mouthfeel is as if it melts into the warm soup.
The lingering taste that goes down your throat. The aroma.
It was the night I realized that sake is the best in the world.
