Special Junmai A
A is not the A of Abe-kan...but the A of A-Un. It is a collaboration sake with Urakasumi, and Urakasumi is in charge of the A-Un side, and it seems to be becoming an annual collaboration. More flirting Abe-kan and Urakasumi.
The brave dragon adorning the label is the work of an artist with ties to Miyagi Prefecture. It was a no-brainer to buy a packet.
The taste is more sharp than usual. It has a clean mouthfeel, a refreshing aroma, and a smooth texture, while keeping the spread of umami to a certain extent in check. The aftertaste has that Abe-kan feeling. While retaining its umami, it disappears gracefully and can be drunk indefinitely.
This is a sake born in a port town and should definitely be paired with seafood.
