The color looks almost colorless but slightly yellowish? Aroma is not so much. It tastes like rice. There is not much sweetness. Alcohol taste is strong.

This Honjozo sake is made from locally grown Hida Homare sake rice polished to 55% and subsoil water from the snow-covered mountains of the North Alps. The sake is fermented at a lower temperature for 5 days longer than normal sake in order to enhance the flavor and make it crisp.
