I was in a pinch for alcohol in stock, so I entered a local liquor store five minutes before closing on my way home from work. I was grateful to be told to "come in" despite the fact that I was in a tight spot for sake in stock.
However, I didn't want to stay too long, so I bought some sake that I had already had my eye on.
This time, I wanted a refreshing and crisp sake, so I went for this stable brand.
The color is clear and colorless. There is not much aroma. The first sip. It is delicious.
Each of the five tastes is well balanced, and the spiciness asserts itself at the end. It is really refreshing and easy to drink.
The label is cool with dolphins, turtles, penguins, and wakame seaweeds.
On the back of the label, there is a print of Edomae Sushi, which is quite stylish. This sake has classical elements, but it is firmly a summer sake.
