SAMURAIZ
This is the first Kido I have seen in a long time that caught my eye on a business trip. Last year, I paid my hometown tax on it.
Attracted by the name "Shiboritate Nama Shuzake" and the reasonable price, I immediately took some home with me.
When you put it in your mouth, you feel a slight gassy sensation on the tip of your tongue. Immediately, a strong sweetness spreads softly in the center of the tongue. As you swallow, you feel a sour taste in your mouth and a fruity aroma escaping through your nose. The bitterness lingers on the back of the tongue, but is nicely counteracted by the "smoked samadai" entrées such as iburi gakko (pickled ginger) and smoked cheese. It is a delicious sake with good cost performance.
