Heisei 30 sake brewing year, shipped in November of 2008, using Yamada Nishiki!
This is the first time I've seen a red Kurogyu!
The aroma has the acidity that is typical of Kurogyu, and it is a bit like an old sake.
The taste is a gentle sweetness and umami of the rice, then the umami comes up slowly, and finally the sharpness comes out.
It has a Kurogyu flavor, but with a cleaner taste than usual😊.
Seems like it would be good heated too!
