After a quick drink and feeling tipsy, take a stroll around town to a popular oden restaurant 😋. We managed to slip in because it was early in the day! It is now the season for oden. Naturally, I drink with the offerings. I have seen Uguisu in the garden several times, but this is the first time for me to drink it. I drank it cold, and it has a soft sweet aroma. It is soft on the palate with a gentle aftertaste, and its umami and slight bitterness are the best match for the gently flavored oden! The sake was delicious, but the first time I tried zurigiri with oden, I was shocked by the texture that overturned my concept of zurigiri, as it crumbled into pieces.
