Tonight we had #Ryusei Aged Junmai Omachi hot sake from #Fujii Shuzo in Takehara City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
Dinner was pork and fried chicken, so this hot sake tastes great.
This sake has been aged for about 6 years. It has a golden color when poured into a sake cup. This alone makes me smile, as I love aged sake.
A sip at room temperature...ah, you can tell right away that this is definitely a delicious sake when warmed.
Now, to heat it up. The sense of maturity and the fullness of Omachi rice fills the mouth.
Warmed up the night before a possible snow day. Thank you for the drink 😋.
