I had always heard that there was a delicious sake in my mother's hometown of Murakami since I was a child. When I was a university student, I found out that it was "Shimeharizuru," but I couldn't tell how great it was. I thought I had started to understand it after I was over 40 years old, but I had no way of knowing its depth and just got drunk. Recently, for the first time in several years, I had a bottle of "Shimeharizuru", and I'm ashamed to say that I was so impressed by its taste that I found today's "Jun Junmai Ginjo Sake" at AVE and bought it on impulse! That's how I had it today!
The aroma is elegant and conveys its deliciousness on its own. The taste is mild, but there is a wide range of deliciousness, and the assertions are well balanced! I wonder if this is a characteristic of Niigata sake. I can just picture the happy faces of all my relatives! I'm going to drink "Sime Hari Tsuru" again with all my heart and soul✨.
