Paper-packaged sake is always within easy reach. This time, I purchased "Kiniro no Shizuku" from Fukumasamune.
1.8 liters for 1000 yen? Are you okay with that?
First sip.
It's okay. It's not so bad. It is light and has little umami. The gentle acidity and bitterness bring the taste together.
It is a junmai sake with 78% polishing, but there is not much of a cloying taste. It has a little bit of flamboyance.
The label says that it contains twice as much ferulic acid as usual. It seems to be a polyphenol contained in rice. I don't know what it is, but it seems to mean that drinking sake makes you healthy.
The label also says, "The true color of sake is golden like ears of rice," but this sake is perfectly clear.
The taste is thin and the light bitterness is emphasized, so those who don't like it may not like it. Personally, I think it is not bad for a paper-pack Junmai sake.
