One of the three bottles I bought from the crowd-funding. They call it "Hitachinobori". It's a sake made to pray for the revival of the Su-min Festival at Kuroishiji Temple in Oshu City (formerly Mizusawa City), which was cancelled due to the Corona disaster. I've only heard rumors about the festival, but the picture on the label gives you an idea of how hot the festival was. The taste is rich and sweet with a strong grassy miscellaneous flavor that is typical of Kikumori. You can taste and drink it while rolling it around on your tongue. It is not sticky, so you can drink it without getting bored. You can feel the spirit of the brewer in this bottle. Cheers to the revival of the Sominsai next year, and here's to hoping it's the first and last bottle!
