It's a holiday, so I went to Yokohama to get some new sake. Today, at the Urakasumi booth in the Yokohama Takashimaya Department Store, the saleswoman's mother recommended Hiyaoroshi. She said, "Definitely keep it chilled. It's been brought here chilled from the brewery in Miyagi Prefecture to keep it tasty! Drink it up in about three days." I was told to buy it with a refrigerant.
The golden silhouette of autumn leaves on the label is wonderful. When we took a sip at home, it tasted dry like shochu or gin because of the high alcohol content. But of course it has a gorgeous aroma of sake. It is a sake to enjoy only now through the summer.
