On the previous Sunday, we performed at the Aoba Ward Citizens' Festival.
The festival is quite a spectacular event, as we performed together with the Aoba Ward Fire Brigade's ladder-riding performance, but the audience was sparse as it was the first performance after the opening ceremony.
Since kijataki has the meaning of exorcism, it is usually performed first thing in the morning. I wonder if this is one of the reasons why there are so many seniors in the audience.
Now, the Tochigi sake, Kyokko.
I don't feel much Kamitachi-kou.
The mouthfeel is a wave of profound umami from a refreshing sweetness. As one would expect from a 5-year aged sake. It is a five-year aged sake, and it carries a good umami. The aftertaste is also clear and finishes with mild acidity and bitterness.
There is no strange twinge that is sometimes found in aged sake. Delicious! Asahi Kohshin!
Please don't abuse me, I can speak sake without permission.
〜Old man's skin is surprisingly beautiful!
Thank you for the food and drink!
