しょうたそ
Early autumn deer. I chose Nose, Settsu.
The reason why I chose it. Because it was the only one in the liquor store.
We started with a cold sake.
It's not as dense as you might expect from pure rice and 75% polished rice.
It's surprisingly light and refreshing.
When I warmed it up, it had a fuller flavor, but the sweetness was subdued. This is a sake for eating.
It doesn't get in the way of the meal, but it doesn't have a synergistic effect either.
Personally, I felt it was lacking on its own, but when combined with a meal, it brings out the flavor of the meal. I think it is a perfect sake for the coming season.
