Cloudy white. High foaming. High viscosity. The aroma is full and sweet, reminiscent of lactic acid beverages, and fruity, reminiscent of pears. The strength of the aroma is medium. Fresh and juicy on the palate with a grainy and effervescent taste derived from unrefined sake. The overtone is reminiscent of Kamishinko, and there is also a hint of pear. It has a rich umami flavor. Strong astringency. Mellow sake. However, under the Sake Tax Law, it is classified as "muddy sake" rather than "seishu," so it is an extra category.
