It's been a long time since I've opened a bottle of Akabe period sake at home since I used to take it to many people's drinking parties 🍶.
It has a good balance of both acidity and sweetness, reminding me of early ripening strawberries. Even though it is nigori, the umami is moderate, and the low alcohol content makes it easy to drink.
The nigori portion of the lower layer has some umami, but the impression is that the acidity is more assertive.
Even the nigori portion is delicious and easy to drink, and I finished the entire four-pack in no time 😊.
