I wondered if it was sasasagre because it was near Tanabata, but it was rice. He said it was the father or mother of Sasanishiki.
It has little aroma and a smooth entrance, but the rice-like flavor shows up at the end and it is delicious.
It is also good with strong flavored dishes. It can be used as a stand-alone rice as well, so it seems to be highly versatile.
