Today is the day before Monday's operation, but we moved and stayed overnight to get in the day before. I try not to buy alcohol on the days I stay overnight, but today I wanted to drink some, so I brought some from home 🧡.
Today I'm bringing in "Gakki Masamune Mixed Junmai Ginjo Dewa Sanzan" 🧡.
Gakkies are delicious, but the Kuboyama Brewery, which I work with, doesn't carry any unusual types of gakkies, so I've only had the common ones.
When you open the bottle, the ginjo aroma reminds me of melon from the bottle 🧡The taste is indeed gacky🎶I can feel the alcohol, but it's not a bad alcohol feeling. The sweetness is moderate and refreshingly fruity 🎶I think there is a bit of bitterness in the background just to cut through the sweetness.
I recently made a new sake friend who enjoys sake, and he is sensitive to bitterness, and he points out the bitterness that I don't detect, so I'm kind of becoming sensitive to bitterness! Today I realized that there is quite a bit of bitterness at a level I don't care for. w
