The Chita Peninsula, where Handa-go brewery Kunimori is located, is a region where brewing of vinegar, miso, soy sauce, and sake flourishes.
Handa is so famous for its breweries that it is often sung, "Handa in Chita is a town of breweries, sake breweries, vinegar breweries, and cotton warehouses.
Handa has also long been rich in agricultural and marine products, and has developed a rich culinary culture. We named our sake "Handa-go" after this historic brewing area in the hope that our sake would be loved in conjunction with Handa's climate, people, and food culture.
