The rice used is Hitogochi from Nagano Prefecture.
It is mild, light and crisp.
It is a very versatile sake.
If you chill it down to the bone, it's as easy to drink as water, but if you heat it up, it turns into a very satisfying sake.
As the day went on, I felt that it became a little sweeter, or that it started to have a richer flavor.
It's a one-ounce bottle, so I'd like to enjoy this change as well.
This is my first time drinking Hokko Masamune, but it's a classic sake with such potential.
It's a great sake from Oku-Shinano. I would love to try the other brands as well.
