It is a junmai-shu made from rice, which is the main ingredient. We are particular about the "soil" in which the rice is grown, and use only 100% specially cultivated "Yamada-Nishiki" rice for this sake. This rice and Kyoto's famous "Fushimizu" water are slowly brewed using traditional techniques cultivated over many years. This junmai sake is highly aromatic, and the umami of the rice can be fully appreciated. The 720ml bottle is packaged in a carton. Medium-bodied. Fire-quenched.
