I was at work until yesterday, so today is the first drink of the year.
The first drink of the year is this sake that I have been curious about for a while. It is a Junmai Daiginjo from NOBU, a restaurant spread all over the world.
It has a gorgeous fruity sweetness. The umami and acidity are mild and complement the sweetness.
The sweetness disappears quickly in the aftertaste, leaving a slight bitterness.
