New Year's Eve at my parents' house.
I brought Miyazumi Hatsu Shibori nigori sake and Banshu Issen.
I chilled them in the freezer right before, but the lid blew off!
The sweetness and acidity are better balanced at room temperature, and the sake goes down a treat.
It's sushwewty, sweet, mildly bitter, and delicious! I'm not a big fan of fire-aged sake, including Sharaku, but the nama-zake is excellent!
