The sake we opened around the fire was Shimotsuki from Okuharima, one of our favorites.
I had a plan to warm it up, but I decided to try it cold.
The soft aroma brought happiness to my nostrils, and when I put it in my mouth, the flavor soaked into my body.
It's not glamorous, but the warm flavor is pleasant.
Now, let's try it lukewarm or hot.
I got the impression that it wasn't quite ready for lukewarm heating, but when it got hot, the flavor exploded.
The aroma pierces through, and the umami with acidity fills the mouth.
Okuharima Par Parliament is to be reckoned with!
