I have been wanting to drink Tamanomitsu for a long time!
The aroma is like the umami sweetness of rice! It is a different kind of sweetness from the floral and fruity.
Is this the type of sake where the aroma matches the taste? The umami of the rice comes onto the tongue just as the aroma suggests....
I paired it with sushi, but I think it would be best matched with more flavorful Japanese food.
It is somewhat rich, so it would be good with nabe dishes in winter!
