Today is the day the Suruga Bay speciality Sakuraebi fall fishing ban is lifted 😊.
I paired the raw Sakuraebi with sake 🍶.
After much deliberation, I chose... Jikin!
The sweet and mellow taste of the Sakuraebi, the refreshing fruitiness and sharpness of Jigokan, and the slight afterimage of rice on the tongue create an exquisite harmony.
We are enjoying the ultimate luxury of pouring Jikin with seasonal sakura shrimps 😀.
