Immediately after opening the bottle, the iron mask of Gohyakumangoku was on full display, and it had a tough, tough taste that was far removed from the image of umami-filled black beef.
I did not like it at all, but when I drank it three days later, it became a little less angular and more umami.
However, I still think that the Ihyakumangoku is too strong and would not go well with gently seasoned dishes.
It might be a good match for simmered dishes or meat, though.
But I still don't like "Gohyaku-mangoku.
