Hourai, which is named after the land of eternal youth and longevity, has been dedicated to making famous sake in Hida Furukawa since 1870. It has won many prizes at domestic and international sake competitions, and has long been loved by the local people as a gift of happiness for the Hida people. We pursue "brewing sake with heart and humanity, brewing straight from the heart to make the most of the life of the rice. We emphasize tradition and handcraftsmanship, use old wooden tools, and value the aroma and feel of the sake.
