Entry: Sweet aroma of rice, smooth.
Hint: A slight gas comes from the mouth, then sourness, umami, and a refreshing sweetness.
Aftertaste: The flavor of the rice lingers.
Unlike the Yamadanishiki, the sweetness that is typical of Hanayo-yoku is subdued, crisp and delicious! I think I like this one better! It's beautiful and gorgeous, but the crispness makes it good for sipping. There is almost no bitterness.
After two days, the aroma changes to pineapple, and the sweetness comes out more and more.
