This sake is brewed by Yamanashi Meijo in Yamanashi Prefecture.
Shichiken's Junmai Daiginjo Kinu no Aji is a standard sake, but it's a very complete and wonderful sake. Once a year in December, the brand releases an Arabashiri nama-shu, which is excellent 😋 When you drink it right after you buy it, it has a fizzy, sparkling taste that is irresistibly delicious, but this time I let it sit for a bit. This time I let it sit for a bit. It's not a good idea to age raw sake lol.
The aroma is clear and fruity, like an apple. When you put it in your mouth, the gentle sweetness spreads all over your mouth, and the acidity and bitterness support the sweetness without being assertive, creating a lingering aftertaste. Oh, it's so good 😆.
This is one of the three best beers I've had all year. I'll be on the lookout for at least two more bottles this year 🐱.
