ヒラッチョ
Ancient Capital" by Sasaki Shuzo in Kyoto, Japan.
The brewery is also known as the family home of actor Kuranosuke Sasaki.
The title of the label is by Yasunari Kawabata.
He praised Sasaki Sake Brewery's sake, saying, "The flavor of this sake is the taste of Kyoto," and wrote "Ancient Capital" for his work.
This sake has a calm and delicious flavor, and has the nostalgia of being suitable for a wide range of meals.
We also tried it lukewarm (40°C) and it was good.
On a weekday off, I visited the Kanagawa Museum of Modern Literature in Yokohama.
The exhibition was held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of Yasunari Kawabata.
The exhibition was quite extensive, with a focus on autograph manuscripts and letters.
I felt the breath and greatness of not only Kawabata Yasunari but also other writers of the Showa period in the letters that they exchanged in their daily life.
I felt the deep bond between Kawabata and Riichi Yokomitsu, whose letters were kept in each other's possession, and the greatness of Kawabata's writing.
The eulogy for Riichi Yokomitsu once again touched my heart.
I could imagine that Yasunari Kawabata gave his eulogy with all his heart and soul.
