Banana-like aroma. Sweet. Goes well with the garlicky Matsumoto Sanzokuyaki. I thought so.
We were given a sansatsuyaki and a sake cup at the venue, and participated in a curious event in which we were asked to choose the best sake to go with the sansatsuyaki from a list of 35 kinds (1 liter in total), without knowing the brand name. It was interesting. I like the Nagano Sake Brewers Association because they come up with some crazy ideas.
The result will be announced on September 6.
