The same soft fruity aroma, gentle sweetness, and umami of rice spreads with soft acidity, and finishes with a slight bitterness.
It is elegant and soft, but gives a deep impression, and is delicious with a meal or as a stand-alone sake.
It went well with Boay pork shabu-shabu, pork kimchi, grilled dried komai fish, muscles, simmered isotsubu, chilled tofu, and pickled eggplant with mustard from the veranda.
