But that aside, let's start with the standing aroma. Unusually for Morishima, there are hints of rice and alcohol. It is juicy in the mouth with a hint of rice sweetness and a beautiful mouthfeel. The aftertaste is dry and sharp. Finally, you can feel the swelling of the rice characteristic of Omachi.
Serve with cod roe with crow's feet. The crisp and salty flavor, different from mullet, enhances the sweetness of the rice in this sake and gives it a mellow taste. Seems to go well with heating sake 😄.
