On a recent trip to Niigata, I visited the famous Niigata restaurant "Brothers Sushi. The restaurant is particular about Niigata sake, and when I asked for sake, I was served only Niigata sake.
The fourth and last one is Abe in Kashiwazaki City. Summer sake is available from No. 1 to No. 3, but what was this one? It's written on the back of the tag hanging on the neck...^^;.
You bought the No. 2 brewing tank, didn't you? Well, I don't think I would be able to tell the difference in taste no matter what number it was! 🤣
Low alcohol and high acidity, like a summer sake, yet with a good umami. Quite delicious. It is indeed a national abe.
