I had never had a proper sake from Kanagawa and asked the liquor store which one they recommended. He recommended the special junmai from Matsumidori, especially the special junmai produced by the young 11th generation. The sweet fruity aroma of strawberry syrup, muscat, and ripe red melon is not too strong, but just right. There is also a slight woody aroma. The mouthfeel was sweet but not too strong, with a moderate acidity that cut through the sweetness quickly, and a good amount of bitterness and umami, making it a very well balanced sake. To be honest, it was a very tasty sake that exceeded my expectations by quite a bit. Thank you very much for the sake.
