ぷれーり
Sawaya Matsumoto, I like this brewery even though they have been through a lot.
I compared a junmai sake and a Morihate Gohyakumangoku. Neither of them are listed, but the Junmai is Gohyakumangoku. The Junmai sake is made from Gohyakumangoku, and the Moribawari sake is made from 65% polished rice, so the specs are the same. The specifications are the same.
How do you think it will taste?
...The moment I poured it, it was different. The Moriborai has a fizzy, bubbly taste. The Junmai tastes robust. Morichiri is refreshing and rich in flavor.
The price of 720ml is only a little more than 100 yen, so I thought I would choose Moribari.
But when I warmed it up, I found the Junmai to be better! The Moriboshi has too much acidity.
I didn't realize how much difference there is in the sake making process. I guess you can't tell a lot about a sake just from its label.
By the way, when I try a new sake, I trust the pop-ups at the liquor store and give it a try (^^)
