On November 19, I went to a salmon spree held at Miyako Messe in Kyoto.
The first one was a new sake drinking comparison 🐰🎶 by Ryuriki.
Both use Gohyakumangoku rice.
The special honjozo has a strong rice flavor and a sake-like mouthfeel. It is a sake I would like to drink lukewarm 🥰.
It goes well with grilled smoked squid and the synergy of the flavors makes it hard to stop drinking.
Both are fresh and have a moderate acidity and bitterness, making them a good choice for the first drink of the day.
