Second day of Golden Week holidays Today I went for my first hiking trip in a while and went to Arashiyama in Kyoto 😀. Our destination was Atagoyama Shrine, located at the top of Mt. Atago, the famous fire god of Kyoto 😇. Today's accompaniment is a cup of sake from Omine 🤣. It has been sitting in our sake cellar for a whopping 10 months since last July 🤣. The distance we walked was 11km, but even though it was a low mountain, the difference in elevation was 1000m, so I was pretty exhausted after a long time of walking up the mountain 😅. After reaching the top, this cup of sake from Ohmine-san was sinking in my tired body 😀. I think the taste of sake sunk into my body even more than usual 😇.

Hi Jay & Nobby 😀 I thought I was young, but 1000m mountains, even low mountains, can be a challenge 😅. But after reaching the triangulation point at the top, Omine-san was the best 😇. And we were given a tag to watch out for fire 😇.
