Ona Special Junmai Summer Sake Hotaru
The name of this sake makes us feel summer! Last time we had Mashidaya's limited edition Ona, which was fruity and very satisfying, so we are looking forward to this one too!
When I opened the bottle, I found that this one was a light, light, umami type!
It had a slight rummy? Sweet aroma like caramel.
When you put it in your mouth, the sweetness was moderate, and the umami flavor was quickly brought out and finished off.
I had a strong image of summer sake as light and refreshing, but this one is also very drinkable.
Rice polishing ratio: 55% (100% Hitogokochi from Nasu, Tochigi Prefecture)
Alcohol content: 15%.
