Toyama Prefecture Ariiso Akebono Shiboritate Unpasteurized Nama Shu Riemon
Hazy pale silver
First impression of the aroma is mild.
Shiratama dumplings, muscat, lychee, quite spicy
First impression of the taste is rather strong
Elegant sweetness, sharp acidity, bitterness with presence
Balance of freshly squeezed freshness and the punch of nama sake, yet fruity and pleasant on the palate, making it easy to drink too much
Slightly long finish
Fruity punch!
No wonder it is so popular!
The punch of the nama sake makes it as good as my recent favorite "Spicy Gouda Cheese" (Gouda cheese with cumin).
The cheese is a nice omission to wrap up the bitterness that I personally find a bit bothersome!

Good evening, Murasan. Fruity Punch, that's it! That's right. Is the balance of too palatable and too much to drink a compliment? 🤣
