I thought the bottle was reddish brown, but the sake was reddish brown. One sip and it tasted strangely like a blend of wine, whiskey and plum wine. It was slightly sweet and sour, refreshing and slightly astringent. This is too good! It ranks in MY (cheap and tasty sake for a long time).
