I don't even remember when it started, or why, but I've always liked white geese. I found out that the young president of this Nakagawa brewery had passed away this summer, so I went to a special store and bought it. I would like to dedicate it to him. It is 100% Echidanrei, 50% polished and unpasteurized. It has a thick body, which is typical of hiyaoroshi. It is veiled at first, but then a fruity pear-like aroma appears and a long bitter aftertaste follows at the end. I think it's a unique taste, even for Koshitanrei. Very satisfying. I can't stop hoping for further development of the brewery.
