At "Genson", a must stop by when I return to Sendai. We were served birth sake from the newest brewery in Japan, Iraka Sake Brewery!
Everything at Genson is really delicious, starting with the meat tofu. I like the tofu so much that I am tempted to order it in individual portions, but I am told not to because I have too many other things to eat. Another exciting point is that you can see the process of making the tofu from the counter. The Sendai miso rice balls, which are made and seared in front of you before being served, are a sin. I was so addicted to it that I ate it at a convenience store.
