Now that the black bottle was out, I hurriedly brought home a brown bottle from the company refrigerator and opened it.
The aroma was of sweet grapes. It's quite pungent. A little gassy.
Sweetness ahead. The sweetness is not too strong. Sourness is mild.
The aftertaste is short and refreshing, although it has a strong bitterness and umami taste.
I thought it would be a relatively sweet sake, but it has a perfect balance that goes well with meals. I wonder if the black bottle is still available...
