How long has it been since Sentori was new? Yes, it has been a while, but this is my first time to try the new SENKYO.
I love SENKYO, but I was not so sure when I saw how popular it was right after the renewal. I thought I would be able to buy it after I had a chance to choose it slowly, but I didn't have a chance to buy it until today.
I chose this one out of several types.
The color was whiter than I had imagined. It has the acidity that is typical of Sentori, but it is quite sticky with a strong sweetness.
The acidity can be felt at the back of the throat, so it is not bad, but the sweetness strongly asserts itself even at the end.
It's not that it's not tasty, but it's not a good taste.
It is not that I don't like it, but as I am getting to dislike sweet things more and more each year, it is not to my taste.
The sweetness with a touch of lactic acidity is the same as that of my favorite new muddy sake, but for some reason, I couldn't get my hands on it.
But next time, I'll try some modern sake.

We're getting to the point where we don't like the sweetness anymore 😅 Retro is good too 😋.
