旅の土産はカップ酒
Purchased at Hanshin Department Store. The brewer recommends hot water heating. I don't like hot sake, but now that I'm older, I'm not sure if I can drink it...
I'll have it cold today. The introduction says it's "an unpretentious, unassertive sake," and I agree.
Today, I went fishing early in the morning and finished cooking the fish. The fisherman next to me gave me a horse mackerel for sashimi. I fried all the mackerel and was tired.
The brewery had been in business since 1673, but was burnt to the ground in an air raid during World War II. Fukutoki Ujita, the 11th generation brewer, lost both his location and his fortune, but despite the hardships he faced, he was able to revive his business in the sake town of Fushimi with his love for sake as his springboard.
