Comparison of untouched sake, Yamahai vs. No.1 yeast.
Gohyakumangoku with No.1 yeast is refreshingly dry.
The slight effervescence of the directly pumped sake makes the mouthfeel enjoyable and refreshing.
The difference is subtle, but the horizontal flavor is a tie. In terms of depth of flavor, Yamahai wins by a narrow margin.
But both have an alcohol content of between 18 and 19 degrees Celsius.
They are good, but if you drink them at your usual pace, you'll die in a bomb 😱.
