Looks like the rest of the world will be on vacation tomorrow... but I'll be 🍶charged for work ✨.
Before that... yesterday and today our town held its annual Sake Festival 🍶. The main attraction for drinkers at this festival is the ticketed sake plaza where you can drink about 900 brands from all over the country 😅I haven't been to the plaza for a long time 😅It used to be a dream place where you could drink all you wanted for about 2,000 yen for an advance ticket...now it seems rather expensive 😭
Well, I'm sorry for the long preamble, but tonight we will be drinking our first sake from Okayama 🌃 brilliant✨!
It's one of the few draft sakes available this time of year😍.
When you open the bottle... it smells like muscat, melon🍈, and strawberry🍓 in a good way...grin ✨ lol
I will have a sip from the first sip 😋.
It has a light, sweet taste with almost no bitterness or other unpleasant flavors 🥰.
The sweetness quickly recedes from the aftertaste: ❗️
It is very easy to drink and has a high degree of perfection without being too rich. ❗️
It's not a flaw, but it's a little high in alcohol content because it's a pure sake, so it might be tough for weak drinkers.
And...I was expecting a little bit of the freshness and sizzle that comes with nama-shu, but I didn't feel much of that at all💧.
I think it would go well with vanilla ice cream 🍨 after dinner 🤤.
