This sake needs to be rest for a while. When first opening, it comes with a wood smell and taste that is too sharp. After resting for around 15 minutes or more, this taste becomes softer and blends better with the sake itself. There are slight fruity banana taste, perhaps due to the Namazake nature. It also comes with some tangerine bitterness - not unpleasant. Overall an above average sake that is good as the first launch.
